I grabbed this photo from a Facebook friend. She lives in Tokyo for quite a number of years now. It always caught my interest when she would post new photos of one of the busiest and largest cities of the world.
Beautiful landmarks were amazing. And the ingenuity of the Japanese people is always interesting. That, despite the rising skyscrapers and the mushrooming of more establishments around the city that you would feel like you are in a new yorker puzzle , more interesting high-rise buildings and landmarks are underway.
One is the newly opened Tokyo Skytree. Claimed to be the tallest tower in the world, it was opened to the public in May, 2012. It boasts of engineering prowess which includes, earthquake proof, as Japan lies in an earthquake belt. The Skytree draws more crowd at night when the tree is illuminated by colorful and contrasting LED lights.
Truly, the Tokyo Skytree is the newest attraction in the city as it has an observatory deck where one can see the whole of Tokyo.

Think I know that lady in pink, haven’t seen her in ages. If she’s your friend then it’s heartwarming to know that we have friends in common. It’s a small world indeed.
