March of this year when we last visited Lucban town off in the southern part of Luzon. We were booked at Patio Rizal Hotel. A small but sleek hotel located at the heart of the downtown area. As our rooms were getting prepped up, we decided to just wait in the hotel’s small cafeteria. And, because it was rather cold that early evening, I ordered premium coffee while my companions ordered sodas and fruit juices.
Few minutes thereafter, the hotel’s staff led us upstairs towards our rooms. Seeing the fancy bed, the comfy pillows and the fresh smelling linens, I thought I was home.
Home away from home.
