Traveling to Baguio City is best in the summer months or better yet in time for Penagbenga Festival which is usually held at the last week of February every year. The flower festival is very popular were tourists crowding the small city. For tourists who plan to experience the festival such as the Penagbenga, it is best to book your travel in advance as hotels are fully booked in that season.
Though, there are many transient houses around the city, you don’t wanna end up staying in a place where there are no electric fireplace insert , because nights in the city could be a little colder. It’s nicer to stay in a warm and cozy place.
During our last Penagbenga experience, we stayed at my sister-in-law’s aunt’s house. That warm yellow blue roofed two-storey house with white painted French windows and attic bedrooms that’s very cozy. It’s too damn cold at night you just want to stay all day buried in heavy blankets
