We drove off to Laur Saturday morning to attend a funeral. Have long been wanting to stop by the town’s municipal hall built outside the town area. It is actually on the highway, two Barangays before town proper. Background was a scenic field of green rice paddies. Perfect contrast to the contemporary look of the building.

Good looking hall. Our city hall here is a heritage building from Dutch colonialist era…
I thought that is some mansion of rich people there. ^_^ Pretty fancy for a municipal hall. ^_^
